Super Sped Support is here to give teachers and families a place to find helpful resources and support in navigating special education.

I have over 15 years experience working with kids with disabilities. I have a B.A. in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in Human Development/Developmental Psychology, a Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential and an M.A. in Special Education.

Over the years, I've learned it can be incredibly overwhelming to navigate special education. An incredible amount of new information being thrown at parents. The acronyms, the services, the law… There is so much to learn and I am here to break it down and make it easier to understand. I WILL help you to feel confident and ready to be an effective and collaborative member of your child’s IEP team.

Super Sped Support also provides resources and information for special education teachers that help organize and manage the mountains of paperwork we find ourselves buried under. Special Education teachers find themselves with expectations to teach grade level material, but with little support in how to differentiate for their students. My teacher resources are here for you! They are here to help you stop reinventing the wheel and focus on actually teaching your students.

Ensuring that teachers and families are supported is the best way to shift IEP meetings from confrontational and difficult to effective and collaborative.
